MELAYU COCOS ISLAND

MELAYU COCOS ISLAND ... sebuah pulau yang begitu terasing jauh dari negara jajahannya. Bagaikan anak yang terpisah jauh dari ibunya. Cocos Island yang terletak di Indian Ocean dan lebih tepat lagi berada jauh ke barat di antara pulau Sumatera dan pulau Jawa, dihuni hampir keseluruhannya orang Melayu yang asalnya dari Malaysia dan Indonesia beragama Islam berhijrah atau di bawa oleh British ke pulau tersebut bagi melakukan kerja-kerja penanaman, menjaga, memetik serta memperoses kelapa pada tahun 1880an dahulu. Lebih 150 tahun yang lepas dan akhirnya menetap di kepulauan tersebut. Mereka kini sedang memperjuangkan hak mereka dari kerajaan Australia dan mahu diiktiraf sebagai penduduk asal atau " Indigenous people" Kepulauan yang menyerupai Maldives dan mempunyai perairan yang cukup bersih dan terjaga.

Cocos Island memiliki 27 kepulauan dan penghuninya rata-rata berketurunan melayu Malaysia dan Indonesia dan generasinya masih mengekalkan budaya melayu yang kuat, berpakaian seperti orang melayu dan masih mengekalkan adat istiadat serta cara hidup yang lazimnya d huni oleh org melayu. Cuma ada sedikit pertembungan budaya Scottish yang diterapkan dalam kebudayaan seni mereka yang berkemungkinan hasil penjajahan British di kepulauan tersebut. Pada pengamatan admin jika melihat dari video dokumentari di bawah.. admin tidak nampak sesuatu yang pelik dan terasa mereka seolah-olah berada di bumi Malaysia.

KINI Cocos Island berada di bawah jajahan Australia setelah British menjual kepulauan tersebut kepada kerajaan Australia. Namun rata-rata rakyat Australia tidak mengetahui akan kewujudan pulau Cocos yang begitu cantik lagi menakjubkan itu. Andaikata ada penerbangan terus ke pulau itu, mahu sahaja admin terbang ke sana sambil menikmati pemandangan yang indah sambil bertemu saudara seketurunan serta menikmati keindahan Cocos Island. InsyaAllah, jika ada kesempatan pasti admin akan cuba menjejaki pulau ini..

The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960. Rooted in skiffle, beat, and 1950s rock and roll, the Beatles later experimented with several musical styles, ranging from pop ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock, often incorporating classical elements and unconventional recording techniques in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as the group's music grew in sophistication, led by primary songwriters Lennon and McCartney, they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the counterculture of the 1960s.

The break-up of the Beatles, one of the most popular and influential musical groups in history, has become almost as much of a legend as the band itself or the music they created while together. The Beatles were active from their formation in 1960 to the disintegration of the group in 1970.

The break-up itself was a cumulative process throughout 1968 to 1970, marked by rumours of a split and ambiguous comments by the Beatles themselves regarding the future of the group. Although in September 1969 John Lennon privately informed the other Beatles that he was leaving the group, there was no public acknowledgement of the break-up until Paul McCartney announced on 10 April 1970 he was leaving the Beatles.

James Paul McCartney (1942-1966) was a founding member of The Beatles, arguably the world's most successful rock and roll band.

In the early morning hours of November 9, 1966, McCartney left a contentious recording session at EMI Studios in London. His wrecked Aston Martin convertible was discovered by police at 5 am. McCartney was "officially pronounced dead" (the British equivalent of American "dead on arrival"). He had been decapitated.

Exactly why McCartney's death was covered up is unknown. Some suggest that Parlophone and Capitol Records were making so much money from The Beatles that they would do anything to keep the group intact. Others suggest that the British government was making even more money (The Beatles were in a 95% income tax bracket) and had even more reason to keep the group intact. Certainly, the coverup of the death of such a well known entertainer would have required government assistance.

A singer/actor named William Shears Campbell (Billy Shears) had won a Paul McCartney lookalike contest a year earlier and was recruited as the standin. All records pertaining to Campbell end in 1966.

There was another problem. McCartney was famously left handed and Campbell was right handed. The Beatles announced an end to concert tours. They would spend their remaining three years together in recording studios.

The deception held up well over the next ten years but there was a weak point - John Lennon. Lennon was known for his drug use and antigovernment leanings. He threatened to go public. He might reveal the secret while under the influence of drugs. MI5 couldn't risk either. It easily recruited a mental patient, Mark David Chapman, to do the dirty work. Chapman has been locked in an institution to this day.
